Question 1

Do I need any pottery experience?

Not at all. Every experience we offer is designed to welcome complete beginners. Our instructors are patient, encouraging, and genuinely love helping first-timers discover what they're capable of. If you've never touched clay before, you're in exactly the right place. Have experience? Come expand your knowledge. We tailor the experience to you!

Is there a minimum age?

Our sessions are designed for adults and families with children 8 years of age and over, as long as an adult is with them. We do offer special group events that can be tailored for mixed ages — reach out to us to discuss what works for your group.

Question 3

What should I wear?

Clay is wonderfully messy — that's part of the fun. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, or we'll provide an apron. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. Leave the white linen at home.

Question 4

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself and a sense of curiosity. All materials, tools, and aprons are provided. We'll take care of everything else.

How big are the groups?

Our private sessions will be just you and your friends and family. If its a advertised group class, we still keep them intentionally small — a maximum of 10 people — so everyone gets personal attention, and the experience feels intimate, not crowded. You'll never feel lost in the back of a big class. If your group has more than 10 people, contact us; we can make special arrangements so everyone can participate and have a wonderful time.

How long do sessions run?

Our standard class length is 3 hours; it gives you plenty of time to watch a demonstration, get creative, and make your pieces while enjoying the time with your friends and family. If you need a different class length, please contact us, and we can discuss ways with you that the length of the class session can be adjusted. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early so you can settle in, meet your instructor, and get comfortable before the clay comes out.

Question 7

Can I take my piece home?

Accepted Answer

Yes—but not quite as soon as you might be thinking!Most of our classes use wet clay. After you've created your masterpiece, it will need time to dry before it is kiln-fired and glazed. This process ensures your finished piece is strong, durable, and beautiful.

Your pottery is typically ready for pickup within 1–2 weeks. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready!

If you're traveling or can't return to pick up your piece, we're happy to ship it to you. Just let us know, and we'll make the arrangements. (Additional shipping charges apply.)  Need something sooner? We also offer decorative glazing experiences using pre-fired pottery. These pieces are fired overnight and are typically ready for pickup within 24–48 hours, making them a great option for visitors with a shorter stay. Contact us if you're interested in this type of experience.

How do I book a session?

Simply send us an inquiry through our Contact page or any class offering. Let us know whether you're interested in the Pottery Taster Experience, a Handbuilding Class, a custom-length session, or a decorative glaze-only experience. We'll get back to you promptly to confirm availability and reserve your session.

Sessions fill quickly, especially on weekends, so we recommend reaching out early. However, if you're looking for a last-minute creative experience, don't hesitate to ask! Our time is your time, and if we're available, we'll be delighted to create an experience you'll cherish.

Question 9

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may not be eligible for a refund. Life happens — if something unexpected comes up, just reach out and we'll do our best to work with you.

Can I book the studio for a private event?

Absolutely. We love hosting private events — birthdays, bachelorettes, team outings, family gatherings, and more. We can accommodate groups of up to 12 people for exclusive studio hire. Reach out to us, and we'll design something special for your group.

Can I buy a session as a gift?

Yes! A pottery session makes a truly memorable gift. Reach out through our contact page and we'll help you arrange it. We can provide a gift note or confirmation to share with your recipient.

Where are you located?

We're nestled in the North Georgia mountains in Cleveland, Georgia. Exact address and directions are shared when you book your session. It's a beautiful drive — consider it part of the experience.

What are your hours?

We offer morning, afternoon, and evening sessions 7 days a week. Availability varies by season and demand, so the best way to find a time that works for you is to reach out directly.

Is parking available?

Yes, free parking is available on site. No need to worry about finding a spot — just pull up and come on in.
